Bio:

My addition to the "lives of Mike and Pam.":

Larry asked how many of us did in life what we thought we would do or become, is that what you said, Larry? [Actually, Pete asked the question, but that's just details.]  Well, I think I can say, I did. From the time I saw Mike Brown walk in biology class for the first time my sophomore year, I said in my heart, "I know this is right", and I winked to myself. I wanted to be his wife, make a home for him and have his children. How's that for getting what you want??

As he said already our lives have been blessed, full and busy. We feel so very fortunate to be near our children and they seem to even like us. We watch ice skating, soccer, and baseball. Just had an incredible trip with them to the mountains and did sooooo many things, Mike and I nearly killed ourselves (the bodies are definitely not what they used to be), but we still have fun nearly killin' ourselves.

My mom moved in with us five years ago, as she was becoming very ill with kidney failure. So she and I did the dialysis trips every other day for three years and I learned nursing (on the job training). I was blessed by Mike's generosity and by this opportunity to care for my mom. She died last November in our home.

Mike's mom is still living and her health has been failing as well as losing her sight. Mike has been a dear son, so good to her.

My next passion after the above is the art of calligraphy. I have been a student of this art form off and on since 1977, and have found it has been a great blessing in my life. I plan to continue my education in this area and use it every chance I get for the glory of God and my Savior.

Can not wait to see you ALL!!!!!! Pam
